Treasures from the Parliamentary Archives with Senior Archivist Dr Mari Takayanagi

In this 30-minute free online talk, Dr Mari Takayanagi takes you through 500 years of Parliamentary history, using archive documents such as Acts of Parliament, plans, and petitions.

The talk explores how Parliament has affected all the nations and regions of the UK; how individual people have influenced and interacted with Parliament across the centuries; and looks at some of the most constitutionally important documents including King Charles I's Death Warrant.

At the end of the talk, 15 minutes are available for you to ask questions.
