Historic furniture at the Palace of Westminster
In this 30-minute free online talk Collections Manager Brittany Harbidge and Conservator Loredana Mannina discuss some of the furniture designed for and used on the parliamentary estate, and how they look after it.
In the first half Brittany discusses how the collection came into being, and chooses some highlights to share. In the second part Loredana will describe some of our recent conservation projects and explain how they care for the collection on a day-to-day basis.
At the end of the talk, 15 minutes are available for you to ask questions.
